I'm trying to get a fic ready to post on Valentines Day. It's not very long, but to have a beta safely look over it before Feb. 14, it should've been complete... the day before yesterday.

It's not. I have the whole damned fic completely planned out and I've gotten close to the end. And then, my muses decied I was writing to fast, and now I'm back to writing a couple of sentences a day again.

If I pull myself together, I should still be able to finish it before Valentine's. And even post it if I could get it beta read fast. But that would mean I have to search for a beta before the story is done, and I hate doing that when, (since I know myself) there's a chance something will come up and I can't finish it. Then, I've bothered and rushed that beta for nothing, and beta's are to be more treasured than gold.

This probably didn't make sense to anyone but me.

I'll beta for you darling, as long as you get it to me, preferably, two days before valentines day. I can do it within 12 hours, if you run REALLY close, but that should give you time. :)

Makes perfect sense to me. Been there and feeling the sympathy for you.

If you want (and assuming I'm not called back to work by then), if you get if finished at some godawful late hour a day before you want to post it, I'll look it over for you. I'm not Ms. Perfect when it comes to punctuation, but I'm not half bad with it either.

Gosh! I'd LOVE to beta for you. You know I always have. Unfortunately, you know that I've been having personal and health problems lately and I don't want to tell you I'd do it and then have to cancel out at the last minute. I'm also, for god knows why, trying to renovate/fix/repair, etc., my house before it falls down around my ears and remodel it while I'm doing it. I'm basically doing this myself since there's nobody else to help me except Jesse (practically the only thing I miss about Jesse's father -- he's a carpenter and handyman and was really convenient for stuff like this!).

So, I'm afraid I'll have to pass on this beta. Hope you get one and get to post in time. I can't wait to read it whatever it is!
