I really, really hate when long fics are broken down to small parts and you have to click to get a new page time after time. I hate it! It's not only annoying to have to click while you're reading, but I'm on dial-up and near being broke, so I like to save the story and read it off line. There are several long stories that have over 50 small parts, and it seems like it's a trend or something. I'm not talking about novel length fanfics put on several 100kb-300kb pages either. I get that that can make it easier for the page to load. But for 10kb parts? Come on!
Now, it doesn't bother me so much in archives, (Yes, it does, but I get why an archivist might think it's easier doing it that way) but on personal fanfic pages? Why?!
Why not just paste in the new part under the others on one page if you want to post a WIP? Or when the fic is done, why not offer it in one file too?
It would make my life a lot easier and save me money too. And I doubt I'm the only one.

I feel better now.
