Does anyone read Eve Dallas?

Has anyone read the Eve Dallas series by J.D Robb, aka Nora Roberts? I read the first book and kinda liked it. I liked Eve, I like the universe and while Roarke seems to good to be true, I'm willing to ignore that as long as it doesn't escalate. But I'm afraid the series will go Anita Blake on me, so I'm a bit scared to buy the rest of the books. Will the series be worth reading, or should I save my money, and storage space?

Hi I am a big fan of the Eve Dallas series by J.D. Robb and lets just say that Roarke is absolutely perfect for Eve he and she both have similar beginning and have each come a long way from then but from very different directions I think you will like Roarke as much as Eve.
