My baby is dying!
Feb. 1st, 2004 11:29 pmMy cat that is.
He's been throwing up even the special food we got from the vet. And today, I noticed he was peeing blood. Not a good sign. I'm going to call the vet tomorrow morning. But I doubt she can do anything except put him to sleep.
It's horrible, even more horrible then when we had to put my first cat to sleep, because he was really sick. I mean, he could hardly walk, and was suffering.
But this cat is just fine, a bit skinny, due to not being able to keep all his food down, but other vise fine. He 'talks' with you when he comes into the room. He's alert and even playful.
I would think he was perfectly healthy if he wasn't waisting away, because he throws up.
It's not fair!

Date: 2004-02-02 10:11 pm (UTC)I got an appointment with the vet tomorrow morning, and that's probably the end of it, because the cat is even worse now.
And since he don't seems to be able to do his business properly, (I've seen him try and try) he seeks out corners in the house and leave a little piddle when he can, he has to stay in the hallways, where it's easy to spot and clean. It really sucks not being able to have the cat with you in bed, the last night of his life, when he's slept there since the first night we brought him home. It doesn't help that he's crying at the door, wanting to get in...
